Receiving Policy

Guidelines for all inbound shipments arriving at Mills Prep Center.

Requirements Before Sending Inventory

Each inbound shipment must include:

  • Packing list
  • ASN / Shipment ID
  • SKU details
  • Carton count
  • Supplier invoice (if needed)

Receiving Inspection Includes

  • ✔ Carton condition
  • ✔ Count verification
  • ✔ Simple physical damage check
  • ✔ Photos of damaged or over-stocked cartons

Receiving Does NOT Include

  • ✘ Functionality testing
  • ✘ Authenticity verification
  • ✘ Deep inspection
  • ✘ Product photography
  • ✘ Opening all units

These services can be requested separately.

Damaged or Missing Inventory

If a supplier sends damaged or incorrect items:

  • A report with photos/video is sent
  • Client must resolve the issue directly with the supplier

Mills Prep Center is not responsible for supplier mistakes.

Incorrectly Labeled Shipments

If inbound shipments arrive:

  • Without SKU labels
  • Mixed cartons
  • Wrong carton count
  • ➡ Additional handling fees apply
  • ➡ Receiving time may increase
